I am a multi award-winning artist, based on the beautiful South Island of New Zealand. I was originally born in South Africa and moved over to New Zealand a few years ago. I consider myself extremely lucky to call this place my home! I am most well known for my  work celebrating the purebred dog and it’s connection to human history and advancement. I believe that “their history is our history” and that we should be preserving, and protecting breeds in much the same way that we preserve and protect ancient, priceless artifacts.

My work always features animals strongly, however I specialise in creating highly detailed, realistic purebred art. Where every piece is a celebration of the importance, and beauty, of “form following function”.

With a background as a Veterinary Technician and Animal Behaviourist, as well as being a Licensed Judge for the Hound and Gundog groups, I bring a deep understanding of the animals I depict as well as their structure and history to my artwork.

I have worked with everything over the years in the Veterinary Industry, from dogs and cats, to lions and tigers, from penguins and baboons, to years of work in animal welfare and rescue.

I have been a lifelong advocate for ethically bred, well-bred, purebred dogs. I wholeheartedly support responsible breeders and clubs committed to preserving breed integrity and welfare, as well as responsible rescue organisations. My art is not merely a visual representation—it is a tribute to the dedication, history, and love behind each unique animal.
